Walks in Camden

Choose from any of the walks below and  enquire about a tour for your organisation or for a group of friends. All walks last approximately two hours unless indicated.Email info@walkinglondonshistory.com with your preferred date and time. Prices £8 -£10 per person depending on group size. Bespoke tour prices upon  request.

A Social Conscience in Bloomsbury

Over three hundred years ago the lovely squares and buildings of Bloomsbury took shape. Among the writers, intellectuals and weathly who lived and worked here were those who wanted to change society for the better. On this walk we explore some of the wonderful buildings and gardens associated with these pioneers and hear their inspiring stories of social conscience.

All Change at Kings Cross

Take a walk through the new 67 acre development behind Kings Cross where an old Victorian goods yard as been transformed into a modern 21st destination. See how the run down site has been repurposed into a space for learning, culture, shops, restaurants and offices while keeping much of its heritage intact.

Hatton Garden

Today we associate Hatton Garden with jewelry and you can find any number of shops selling rings and necklaces here. But the area has a long history dating back hundreds of years. It has been home to medieval bishops, influencial tudor aristocracy, merchants and craftspeople. On this walk we visit the places where the notorious and noteworthy lived and worked and discover their fascinating stories.
